LAPHROAIG 25 YR 99.6
Scotch
750ml
$599.99
Laphroaig 25-Year Old Single Malt Whiskey is the perfect marriage of sherried, oaky flavors from the European Oloroso Sherry Casks and the creamy, smooth, sweet flavors from the ex-American Bourbon Barrels. Bottled at Cask Strength, it is a perfect fusion of these two most different styles of maturation flavors, made even smoother by the 25 years of gentle maturation. The scent of sweet sherry is quickly followed by the time-honored Islay peat tang, bursting onto the palate and slowly developing into spicy apple fruitiness. Leaving a distinct tang of Islay, this Whiskey finishes very long and warm. Laphroaig is one of only a few distilleries that still uses traditional malting floors, drying and infusing its own malt with the thick blue smoke from old peat-fired kilns. Enjoy this treasure neat, on the rocks, or with a touch of pure, clean water. Named for the Gaelic beautiful hollow by the broad bay, Laphroaig is born in a 200-year-old distillery on the coast of the island of Islay, with unique peat and water from the Kilbride stream.
